MSI R9 280 GAMING 3G
MSI R9 280X GAMING 3G

Both Graphic Cards works very good in MacOS Mojave, but as soon i start Windows 10 on ...

There is no support for UEFI Windows on these cards. Only legacy works.

Figured it out. If you want to clean install Mac OS High Sierra, do not have the ethernet cable connected or wifi enabled! Otherwise you may get: "This copy of the Install macOS application is to old to be opened on this version of macOS."

Try setting manually date a few months/years back.

The problem is an expired certificate; you can't use older downloads after longer time.

Sharing my successful experience with flashing Gigabyte R9 280X rev 2.0 to 7950. Even though it looks scary, it's really simple.

Steps I took:

- download the script from the page 1.
- dump the rom with ati win flash utility. I used a separate windows 1...

Didn't need to set the date for High Sierra, I think that's for older Mac OS versions. For HS all I needed was to unplug the ethernet cable / disconnect wifi, otherwise installer forces Mojave. Strange and stupid, but it's true.

mini2018, 10.14.6, hp omen egpu, gtx760, enabled with Purge Wrangler.

Purewrangler is only allowing to use NVIDIA cards as eGPU. Display goes black when connected to eGPU.

Notable is, that SysInfo tells that Apple's adapter is connected, right rez and also display tells all right freqs, but the screen is blank.
